Ini adalah kontes webmaster untuk website orang paling keren.  Kontes ini diselenggarakan oleh AsianBrain dalam rangka memperingati Hari Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia tanggal 17 Agustus dengan memakai keyword orang paling keren.

Selamat datang di situs orang paling keren sejagad !

Hobby orang paling keren sejagad ini adalah:

- music, internet, badminton, singing, programming

- making friends sebanyak mungkin

- suka tantangan / kompetisi

Kontes ini agak berbeda dengan kontes lainnya.  Peserta yang berhak atas hadiahnya adalah mereka yang menjadi member AsianBrain.com.  Selain itu tiap peserta hanya boleh membuat 1 halaman orang paling keren.  Peserta harus memiliki domain sendiri dan bukan domain gratisan.  Memiliki domain sendiri untuk seorang 'marketer' itu merupakan sebuah keharusan.  Kontes ini dilarang memakai blog, karena orang bisa posting 'beberapa kali', plus dapat komentar dari sana-sini, itu tentunya bisa membuat sebuah blog populer di mata search engine dalam waktu yang cukup singkat.  Namun demikian jika ada yang mau ikut meramaikan, it's oke ... namanya juga perlombaan 17 Agustusan.... :D

Strategi saya untuk jadi orang paling keren

Ini adalah kontes webmaster yang pertama saya ikuti.  Saya join di AsianBrain lebih dari 1 semester.  Dan Ibu Guru Anne Ahira punya ide 'nyentrik' untuk bikin kontes orang paling keren.  Semua murid tertantang untuk mengikutinya, bahkan kontes ini menarik perhatian banyak 'orang luar' untuk ikutan.  Strategi yang digunakan adalah menerapkan 'On-page Optimization' dan 'Off-page Optimization'.  Namun yang paling penting: incoming links adalah raja!  Rate (PR) dari link2 yang kamu dapat, partner2 mereka, relevansi dan sebagainya adalah sangat penting.  Tidak hanya itu,  jumlah link yang kamu dapat tampaknya lebih penting dari on page SEO dan kualitas.  Jadi ini suatu tantangan untuk mendapat ranking 1 di Google dengan keyword "orang paling keren". 

Kontes orang paling keren ini akan berakhir tanggal 17 Agustus 2006 jam 24.00.  Tim juri Asian Brain IMC akan menghitung, situs yang paling banyak muncul di urutan 1,2,3 mulai dari tanggal 1 - 17 Agustus maka dialah pemenangnya.
